Diya as motif on Glass Candle Stand in the style of Mithila / Madhubani Art form.
When I thought of a candle stand in Mithila art my first thoughts were to use Diya as a Motif. Subsequently other motifs too found their place. With Glass as base, Acrylic was used as mode of paint to highlight the details which is important to Mithila art.
